Description of the imaginary friend

Uccellomatita

Marianna (136 years old)

Uccellomatita (that means ‘pencilbird’) is self-made. He started to chirp with his powdery voice, then decided that he would draw himself a belly and some nice – but little wonky – paws,  which would certainly take him far anyway.
He has wings, but he prefers to walk or sit firmly on my shoulder to make sure that the ideas he wants to suggest me end up in my ear without dispersion.
Sometimes it’s annoying, but it’s very sharp. Over time he softens up a bit and he’s also willing to admit that not all good ideas are his. Some are mine too.
